ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said there are 80 per cent chances of his arrest today (Tuesday) as he is going to appear in Islamabad to seek pre-arrest bail in various cases.
In an interview with Independent Urdu, Imran Khan said the judiciary is the last hope for them, but the government is not ‘honouring’ the decisions of the courts.
The former prime minister said politician has to be ready for negotiations as matters are resolved through talks, not at gunpoint.
Commenting on the crackdown on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers following May 9 violence, he said more than 10,000 party workers are jailed for ‘no reason.’
The PTI chairman regretted that his party leaders are being rearrested despite getting bail from the court.

Earlier on Monday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Monday that political parties cannot be eliminated through negative tactics.
While addressing a press conference via video link, Imran Khan said that the nation knows him for 50 years and PTI for 27 years. He ruled out expectations of eliminating the PTI through negative tactics.
He said that the Supreme Court (SC) will protect PTI from the government’s barbarism. He strongly condemned the arrest of PTI central leader Shireen Mazari for the third time.
